Club Ace opens its doors in Amsterdam Houthavens
Amsterdam, Thursday April 7, 2022 – This summer, Ace will open its own 4000 m2 'clubhouse' where teams, clients, colleagues and the neighborhood meet. The architectural firm TANK - known for the A'dam Tower, Hotel Arena and Vondelgym - designs its interior, taking into account the new post-COVID reality. All 10 Ace agencies will come together at this new location.

Cross-pollination
Cross-pollination Over the past two years, experts have been speculating about the new role of offices in a remote work environment. After a short pitch process, Ace commissioned TANK to come up with an office design that suits this new reality. In addition, the Amsterdam-based architectural firm was charged with translating the Ace brand whilst allowing for the individual signatures and spaces of the various ace agencies.
Rogier IJzermans, CEO of Ace: "I am looking forward to the cross-pollination that will occur when we move into the new building. During COVID-19 we proved our ability to work individually, but the real magic occurs with being together in one place. This is the foundation of Ace: bringing different people, from different backgrounds, with different areas of expertise together on creative challenges for brands. The new office is fully designed to let that collaborative magic occur. Together with TANK we’ve been looking at the new role of the office and the translation of our club philosophy, which blends work and social gathering by inviting employees and clients to meet each other in other areas of interest beyond work.
Resimercial design
This led TANK to follow the route of the resimercial architectural trend: a principle based on creating a homey feeling within the work environment. The intention is for Club Ace to become a place where both employees and customers would like to spend their time; a flexible working environment that complements working from home.
